The mild, sweet hint of cooked sweet potato adds a delicious dimension of flavor and texture to fillings and cookie dough—especially when dark chocolate is involved.
Sandwich cookies offer endless possibilities for adventure. Create a filling, explore an intriguing flavor combination, tease out a new batter or dough, play with the number of layers. Invent something entirely new or add your own twist to the familiar.
Whether your imagination seizes on ice cream sandwiches or alfajores, cream-filled whoopie pies or jam-filled linzer cookies—here's your chance to become a chocolate adventurer.
Your challenge: Combine SCHARFFEN BERGER artisan chocolate with one or more of 12 adventure ingredients, from sweet potato to tequila. Then create a recipe for whatever you think may give you a shot at sandwich cookie fame. You can submit up to 10 recipes.
THE BASICS
Each recipe must include SCHARFFEN BERGER chocolate—and at least one of our enticing adventure ingredients (see sidebar).
We'll judge your creation based on creativity, taste, use of chocolate, ease of preparation and whether the recipe reflects a spirit of adventure. Remember to review the Official Contest Ruless for details.
