Turbinado sugar is made from the first pressing of sugar cane and retains some natural molasses. Its light caramel flavor adds a delicious dimension to desserts. Explore its possibilities.
The Chocolate Adventure Contest

We invite you to create a recipe for any type of Bar. The bar category is deliciously diverse. It covers bars and squares—from baked bars to no-bake bars, from ice cream bars to a vast range of chocolate bark. It includes brownies, blondies, seven-layer bars, congo bars, snickerdoodles and cookie-based bars. It extends to candy bars too.

Combine SCHARFFEN BERGER chocolate with one or more of this year’s adventure ingredients. Create a recipe for whatever type of bar you think may give you a chance to win.

Invent something entirely new or add your own twist to a familiar classic. Explore flavor combinations or play with layers. Have an adventure.

Each bar must include SCHARFFEN BERGER chocolate or cocoa—and at least one of the adventure ingredients (see below). You can submit up to 10 recipes.

We’ll judge your creation based on creativity and whether the recipe reflects a spirit of adventure as well as your use of chocolate or cocoa, the ease of preparation and taste. We appreciate recipes that are delicious and are thoughtfully composed, with clear steps placed in logical order. We encourage you to review the Official Contest Rules for details.
